Pre-Easter festivities.

We went to Martins Mill/Crandall for Easter this year.  I love tradition.  Traditions are so good.
Before all the Easter festivities took off, we played at Grandma and Pa's, fished, swam and went to the Alligator Farm.

Because I dont want to forget...every time Caro or Oak come to Grandma's house, their "welcome sign" is on the table when you walk in, along with some kind of surprise.  Now, this was Easter so they got a lot of surprises, BUT, I wouldn't put it past Grandma on a regular day as well.

Jared's shovel was at PA'S HOUSE.  A HUGE HIT.

CUTEST WEDGIE EVER..

Oak's first fish...

Fun at the Alligator Farm...

The girl is FEARLESS...

I LOVE these next two pics of Ro... fearless and so so sweet...

 These two....

baboo.

have i mentioned you talk a lot?!

before you could "talk," you babbled. you gave speeches.

now, your speeches have real words in them with some babbling.

you are very good at pronunciation.  I have no idea why.  other than God made you that way.  you literally say everything as clear as glass.  everything except airplane, at first.

airplane was "baboo."  and it baffled me how you got that.  for the first 3 or 4 months of your airplane life, all we heard was "baboo."  then, one day, (again, about a month ago :/) you decided to join everyone else with "airplane."

I kinda miss "baboo."

new basketball goal.

(again, this was about a month ago :/ )

I had said, in front of Pa, that I wanted to find you a basketball goal at a garage sale.  Well, that just wouldnt do with Pa.  So, he went that night and got you your first basketball goal.  And, you LOVE it. The next morning you literally ran straight to it to shoot.

you are HILARIOUS.

(most of this was written a month ago :/ )

OHHHH the funny things you do, oak jack!

If you are done with what you are holding, you 95% of the time hand it to me.  Like, instead of setting it down wherever, you take the extra effort to make sure its in my hand. :)  For example, you have your paci and I hand you your milk, you say "mom!, paci.", and hand it to me.  its hilarious.

You can be SO matter of fact. Especially when you are trying to get someones attention. You usually call us mommy and daddy, but in this case you say a firm, "mom!, dad.!". its hilarious.

You "play" basketball and football.  If basketball is on TV, you will get your ball and run back and forth, huffing and puffing along the way.  You say "down, set, hut hut", throw the ball then say "oh wow." its hilarious.

If you see something interesting, (i.e. a car, truck, jeep, baboo(airplane), copter(helicopter), shovel, BIG truck, motorcycle, etc...), you let everyone in the car know.  "Mom! Shovel! Dad! Shovel!"  And many times you let us know more than a few times. :)

I was in my own world, in the car, singing....you were doing your normal, "mom! truck! mom! truck!"  I didnt respond, because, well, I was in my own world.  Then I hear, "mom! mom! mom! mom! mom! mom!(louder and louder)" "yes, oak?!"  "mom, truck."  and then I cracked up laughing.
